There’s a group in Texas, and many more across the US, I’m sure, that focuses only on getting teen girls interested in science, technology, engineering and math. So far, it looks to be quite successful, but if we, as a country, want to compete globally, we need to spark the interest in ALL of our youth, through programs and awareness events.
